DevOps Software Engineer - TS/SCI Cleared

This TS/SCI cleared DevOps Software Engineer role focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining a containerized microservices stack and production data pipeline as part of Leidos' DOMEX platform modernization. The position is based on site in Bethesda, MD with hybrid remote flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and sustain a full stack of containerized microservices.
• Provide systems administration support and promote DevOps adoption across cross functional engineering teams.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, architecture, development, security, operations, and integration teams.
• Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big data pipeline built on Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation to speed development and increase reliability.
• Design and support scalable, redundant infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.
• Configure Kubernetes deployments using Helm for new features and evolving requirements.
• Partner with Systems Engineers to architect solutions for new capabilities.
• Contribute technical input to engineering documentation, diagrams, and models.
• Participate in Agile release planning, scrums, design sessions, bug triage, and related team activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of relevant experience; 6+ years with a Master’s.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Strong Linux proficiency.
• Hands on experience with containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD orchestration and GitLab.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
• Proven success working in cross functional engineering environments.

Pay Range

USD 107,900 to 195,050 per year.
