Data Engineer Senior - Level 3

As a Senior Data Engineer - Level 3 based in Fort Worth, TX with a hybrid work arrangement, you will convert diverse data into actionable insights and develop data products and models to inform spares management, repairs, and long-term sustainment decisions for the IFG Sustainment Program.

Responsibilities

• Gather and curate data from multiple internal and external sources to support spares modeling and performance metrics.
• Examine data and apply analytical logic to create supply chain models that inform strategic decisions.
• Work closely with the F-22 Sustainment Program Office (SPO) and stakeholders to align data initiatives with fleet performance objectives.
• Produce standardized and ad-hoc reports for senior leadership, delivering insights that translate into measurable outcomes.
• Lead efforts in performance-based supply analysis and visualization to optimize operations and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and analytics teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and relevance.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Databricks, SAP HANA, Oracle, or SQL Server, including relational database concepts and SQL dialects (SQLScript, PL/SQL, Transact-SQL) for procedures, functions, and views, plus ETL and data warehousing principles.
• Experience with Tableau, IBM Cognos, or other data visualization tools.
• Experience in data mining and cleansing, identifying and correcting data quality issues to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to resolve complex technical issues.
