Data Engineer – Power BI

Intone Networks is seeking a remote Data Engineer with Power BI expertise to design, build, and optimize reports, data models, and analytical solutions with performance tuning and row level security.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain advanced Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business needs.
• Architect and optimize complex data models using star and snowflake schemas.
• Develop efficient DAX measures, calculated columns, and Power Query (M) transformations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver analytical solutions.
• Tune report performance and implement row level security (RLS).

Requirements

• Eight to ten years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and data modeling.
• Deep proficiency with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling concepts.
• Practical experience writing SQL and working with relational databases.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling using star and snowflake schemas.
• Experience optimizing performance, tuning reports, and implementing Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
