Data Engineer, Ads Science Analysis & Tech (ASAT)
Job Description

A Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of data engineering experience are required.
Responsibilities
- Examine data trends across supply, optimization, ad load, and the mix of ads to assess impact on advertiser performance and help achieve advertiser goals.
- Prepare briefings for senior leaders on how feature development affects identity recognition rates and how changes to ad selection influence fill rate, highlighting insights that guide business development and engineering roadmaps.
- Define the analytics framework for Ads auctions by evaluating bid spreads, auction depth, and simulating the effects of potential auction structure changes.
- Identify, standardize, and operationalize KPIs to measure the performance of all components in the ad-serving system, using trend insights to shape business priorities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to specify data logging requirements and secure prioritization in roadmaps.
- Validate financial models through data analysis to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Develop and maintain ad revenue and supply intelligence analytics decks that deliver ongoing deep-dives.
Requirements
- 1+ years of data engineering experience.
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.

In this role, you will work alongside business leaders and engineers to shape a shared data architecture that supports logging at multiple data granularities and enables data interoperability from bid flow to optimization to campaign delivery. You will analyze the data and present papers and ongoing reports featuring actionable insights.
