Data Engineer

Janus Henderson is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, test, install, and support complex ETL and ELT programs. You will integrate internal systems with external data vendors and schedule jobs to meet daily SLAs for data warehouses and data lakes in a Denver-based hybrid setup. The role offers a salary of USD 169,062 per year and permits two remote workdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, testing, installation and support of complex data extract transformations, ETL, and ELT programs, using PL/SQL, Informatica Power Center 10.x and earlier models.
• Develop integrations between internal systems, as well as external data vendors using RDMS databases, flat files and cloud storage.
• Develop job schedules using Autosys to meet daily SLAs for the enterprise data warehouse and appropriate technology applications, using key design and development concepts for Data Lakes, Data Warehouses and Data Marts.
• Implement ETL / ELT pipelines within and outside of the data warehouse using SQL.
• Perform unit and integration tests and support UAT testing.
• Remote work permitted 2 days a week.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 7 years of progressively responsible experience with PL/SQL, Informatica Power Center 10.x and earlier models.
