Job Description

DataAnnotation is seeking a Contract Software Engineer with a focus on AI training. In this fully remote, project-based role, you will design and solve programming challenges used to teach AI systems, craft clear code snippets with thorough explanations, and assess AI-produced code for quality and performance. The position offers flexible scheduling and the option to work from your own setup across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design and solve a range of programming challenges used to train AI systems.
  • Write concise, high-quality code snippets accompanied by detailed explanations.
  • Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, and readability.
  • Provide feedback that helps steer the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English at native or bilingual level.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
  • Strong writing and grammar skills.
  • A bachelor's degree (completed or in progress).
  • Prior experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.
