Azure AI Developer (Mid/Sr. Level)

The Azure AI Developer (Mid/Senior) will join the Enterprise Architecture team to design, build, integrate, and deploy autonomous AI agents. This hybrid role is based in Deerfield Beach, FL on a contract engagement with an hourly rate of USD 65 to 71, requiring at least four years of experience and blending pro-code Azure development with low-code AI tooling to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy autonomous AI agents and multi-agent systems that can reason, plan, and act.
• Integrate large language models such as Claude and GPT-4 via Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI to create conversational copilots and workflow automations.
• Develop end-to-end AI applications, moving seamlessly between Pro-Code (Python / Azure Functions) and Low-Code (Power Platform) approaches.
• Utilize Microsoft Copilot Studio and Dataverse to construct intelligent, enterprise-grade assistants integrated within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Connect AI agents to enterprise data sources (Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL) using Retrieval-Augmented Generation patterns to ground responses.
• Operate as a versatile developer, writing API connectors, configuring Dataverse tables, and refining prompt flows as needed.
• Ensure agentic workflows align with security, governance, and ethical guidelines.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Azure development experience, including Azure AI Services, Azure Functions, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure Machine Learning.
• Proven experience building AI agents using frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or AutoGen.
• Strong Generative AI skills with Claude and ChatGPT API, including prompt engineering.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and Microsoft Dataverse.
• Proficiency in Python, with C#/.NET also acceptable.
• Able to learn quickly and adopt new tools, focusing on applying AI to deliver tangible results rather than pursuing AI theory.
