Job Description

ABBTECH Professional Resources, Inc. is supporting an Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry initiative to modernize inspection data collection. This Application Developer role focuses on transforming existing fillable PDF inspection documents into interactive HTML forms, with inspector submissions stored in a SQL database and later compiled back into new PDF files.

The work is onsite in Oklahoma City and centers on building reliable form functionality for inspectors, including JavaScript-driven data capture, SQL-based persistence, and Jinja templating to generate updated PDF outputs from saved inputs.

Responsibilities

  • Convert approximately seventy existing fillable PDF inspection documents into new interactive HTML forms for department inspectors to use for data collection.
  • Develop the JavaScript functionality required to save inspector input into a SQL database.
  • Use Jinja templates to compile saved inputs back into new PDF files.
  • Provide JavaScript development support as needed to help keep the current project on track.

Requirements

  • Experience with JavaScript.
  • Experience with SQL (T-SQL preferred; knowing SQL in any form is acceptable).
  • Experience with HTML.
  • Experience with CSS.
  • Plus (can be learned on the job): Python.
  • Plus (can be learned on the job): Docker.
  • Plus (can be learned on the job): Jinja.
  • Plus (can be learned on the job): Git/GitHub.

Duration, Location & Schedule

  • Duration: 9 months
  • Location: On-site at 2800 N. Lincoln Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK 73105
  • Schedule: Fulltime, Monday through Friday (8am to 5pm), flex schedule allowed

Timeline & Interview Process

  • One 30-minute interview per applicant.
  • The agency reserves the right for a secondary interview.

Other Requirements

  • This program requires US Citizenship or Green Card (Lawful Permanent Residents).

Pay Rate

  • $50.00–$53.00 per hour
