Job Description
E-AIM offers a fully remote Appian Developer role that centers on designing, building, testing, and remediating Appian capabilities within a collaborative consulting team. The position emphasizes cross functional teamwork, ongoing knowledge sharing, and the continuous enhancement of development practices. A Master’s degree and at least five years of directly relevant experience are requested to ensure you can contribute from day one.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to refine user stories with detailed technical acceptance criteria and improve quality and completeness of stories
- Estimate effort and complexity for user stories and tasks during sprint planning
- Design, develop, and implement complex Appian capabilities, data records/models, and functionalities while following best practices
- Champion Design Review, Code Review, and Development best practices
- Mentor and lead development teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Appian applications and integrations
- Participate in knowledge sharing sessions and contribute to internal documentation and training materials
- Provide testing support, including creating test cases and identifying testing needs
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and other cross functional teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Stay current with the latest Appian features, tools, and industry trends
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to evolving development practices
Requirements
- US citizenship is required; for public sector roles, candidates must be U.S. citizens
- Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of directly relevant industry experience
- Familiarity with Appian testing methodologies
- Appian experience: 2 years (Required)
