Remote Android Developer role at ByKon in Mexico, MO (remote), contract, USD 50,000–60,000 per year, focused on architecture development, UI building and new feature creation.

Responsibilities

• Architecture oriented development and user interface construction for Android
• Translate design concepts into mobile UI implementations
• Develop and deliver new features for the Android platform
• Identify, reproduce and resolve testing issues to improve quality

Requirements

• Proficiency with Android SDK
• Extensive Java and Kotlin development experience
• Knowledge of Java Collections and threading
• Unit testing experience
• J2EE and J2ME development background
• UI design patterns and Android best practices
• Experience with APIs and third party libraries
• REST and JSON handling
• Understanding of mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies
• Full life cycle development experience
• Git and other version control platforms
• Collaborative culture and team-oriented mindset
