Job Description

Logic is seeking an Android App Developer to design, code, and refine components across a mobile application. This role emphasizes modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing software, with a hybrid onsite schedule requiring three days per week in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance components across the mobile application by designing and coding solutions
  • Apply modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing software aligned with business needs
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, collaborate with and guide the team to high performance
  • Own team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key strategic choices
  • Provide cross-team solutions to problems for the immediate team and beyond
  • Design and implement innovative software that meets client requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure seamless integration of software components
  • Participate in code reviews to uphold high quality standards and share knowledge
  • Continuously evaluate new technologies to improve development processes
  • Mentor junior engineers to foster learning and growth within the team

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Android mobile software development
  • At least 2 years building mobile apps using Kotlin, Java, or other mobile languages
  • HS Diploma or GED

Compensation and Location

Hourly rate: USD 44.00 to 54.00

Base location is Charlotte, NC with hybrid onsite expectations; the role also accommodates Plano, TX as an onsite option. Employee may be required to work onsite three days per week.
