AML Developer

Experis is hiring an AML Developer for an onsite role in Jersey City, NJ. Join a financial services organization supporting an AML Transformation Program focused on building and enhancing transaction monitoring capabilities. You will work directly on SAS AML development, from scenario configuration and tuning to customer segmentation and risk scoring logic, while collaborating across AML, compliance, and technology teams.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and enhance AML detection scenarios within the SAS AML 7.1 / 7.2 platform.
• Build and maintain customer segmentation models and risk-based monitoring logic.
• Develop and modify AML prep jobs, datasets, and data processing workflows.
• Configure and tune transaction monitoring scenarios, including rules, thresholds, and risk scoring logic.
• Support unit testing, SIT/UAT activities, defect resolution, and production readiness through deployment and production implementation activities through June 2027.

What you bring

• Hands-on experience with SAS AML 7.1 or 7.2.
• Strong experience building and customizing AML scenarios.
• Expertise in Base SAS programming.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle Database.
• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting.
• Solid understanding of AML transaction monitoring, suspicious activity detection, and regulatory compliance requirements.
