Job Description

Deloitte’s Cyber team is seeking an AI-Powered Back End Developer to help design and build core backend components for Cyber AI solutions. In this onsite role in Baltimore, MD, you will focus on secure REST and GraphQL APIs, cloud-connected deployments, and ongoing improvements to the frameworks that support central cyber control and active cyber defense.

Role Focus

  • Design, build, and maintain core portfolio components that power Cyber AI solutions
  • Create and support secure, scalable REST and GraphQL APIs for integration across platforms
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of Central Cyber Control and Active Cyber Defense frameworks
  • Integrate software components with cloud infrastructure and security tools to enable reliable, secure deployments
  • Stay current with new technologies, evaluating and applying best practices to improve innovation and efficiency

Collaboration and Delivery

  • Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards
  • Work closely with cloud administrators, automation experts, and security engineers to design, deliver, and maintain advanced solutions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance
  • Local to the DMV area and willing to work onsite up to five days a week
  • Ability to travel 25% on average, based on work and client needs
  • 3+ years back-end development including:
    • Back-end development using Node.js and Python (Django, Flask)
    • Containerized microservices deployed on Google Cloud Run
  • 2+ years AI Architecture experience with one of:
    • Modular integration with generative AI models (OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, Hugging Face), or
    • Understanding of AI/ML concepts and frameworks, including TensorFlow and PyTorch
  • 3+ years cloud experience, including experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • 3+ years JavaScript
  • 3+ years Python

Compensation

  • Salary range: USD 113,300 - 207,800 per year
  • Eligible candidates may participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to program rules and factors including individual and organizational performance

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Virginia, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of compensation. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,300 to $207,800.
