AI & Machine Learning Developer

Johnson Health Tech North America Inc is seeking an AI and Machine Learning Developer to support its mobile fitness applications. The role focuses on researching, designing, and prototyping AI capabilities using LLMs and AWS services, with collaboration alongside Android developers to bring AI features into production.

Role Overview

This position will develop AI/ML solutions that support personalized experiences in mobile fitness products. You will work on natural language interactions, fine-tune large language models, and implement AWS-backed services and MLOps workflows. Ongoing collaboration with the Android team is expected to ensure AI features are integrated into client-side applications.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and implement AI/ML solutions for mobile fitness applications.
• Develop and fine-tune LLMs to support natural language interactions and personalization.
• Build scalable backend services using AWS technologies such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and SageMaker.
• Create production-ready ML pipelines and inference endpoints using AWS technologies such as SageMaker and Bedrock.
• Collaborate with Android developers to integrate AI features into client-side applications.
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts for new AI-driven features.
• Maintain current knowledge of emerging AI/ML technologies and best practices.
• Support compliance with data privacy and security standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of AI/ML development experience, with focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and LLMs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services used for AI/ML deployment.
• Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks including TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and working with microservices architecture.

Salary: USD 99,000 - 119,000 per year.
