Renew Vitality is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer for a hybrid role in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. You will build and extend a product built on a TypeScript monorepo, while also owning AWS infrastructure for both beta and production. Responsibilities
- Lead future development of Renew Vitality’s proprietary EMR, advancing new features, projects, and business lines
- Build full-stack capabilities within a TypeScript pnpm monorepo using an Express + tRPC backend and a React/Vite frontend
- Implement domain-heavy backend logic for workflows including lab ordering, e-prescribing, appointments, and billing, with a preference for pure, testable functions
- Operate AWS day to day across ECS, ECR, S3, IAM, networking, and CloudWatch for beta and production
- Integrate with third-party clinical and payment systems, including e-prescribing, lab vendors, and payment processors, while keeping production healthy
- Improve reliability through deployments, rollbacks, health checks, job processing, and handling vendor failures
- Write unit and integration tests and document non-obvious product and architecture decisions
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with senior-level ownership of complex systems
- Strong TypeScript skills across backend and frontend
- Experience with Node.js/Express (or similar), PostgreSQL, and modern React
- Solid, day-to-day comfort with AWS including ECS/ECR, S3, IAM, networking, and monitoring
- Comfort with CI/CD via GitHub Actions, Docker, and production debugging
- Clear written communication and the ability to work from specs/ADRs while improving the codebase
