Systems Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Move programming developed by ASEs into the field
• Download software to controllers
• Startup and commission field systems
• Conduct sequence testing
• Coordinate customer witness testing
• Deliver customer training
• Complete final project closeout
• Collect live databases
• Turn projects over to Service after completion

Requirements

• 2+ years of related work experience in building automation systems and/or industrial control systems programming
• Experience with BAS and programming
• Database development capabilities
• HVAC controls and graphics knowledge
• HVAC mechanical backgrounds or broad mechanical systems knowledge
• Strong computer skills
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office, Windows, and file structures
• Solid aptitude and experience with TCP/IP networking and web navigation
• Highly organized and able to work in a high paced environment
• Ability to operate independently with discretionary judgment to consult with others as needed
• Valid driver’s license
• Commitment to delivering high customer satisfaction and quality deliverables
• Ability to delegate tasks and allocate resources to diagnose and address issues
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Technologies: MS Office, Windows, TCP/IP
