Sr Lead Software Engineer - AI/ML

Senior Lead Software Engineer with a focus on AI and ML platforms, responsible for the design, scaling, and long term maintenance of capabilities that empower data scientists and ML engineers.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing technical guidance to the business, technical teams, contractors, and vendors
• Write secure, high quality production code and review or debug code produced by others
• Promote AI assisted engineering practices across teams to raise code quality, accelerate delivery, and improve operations, establishing validation standards and encouraging reuse of patterns and automation within the SDLC and TLM toolchains
• Leverage the SDLC toolchain and approved AI assisted development and automation capabilities to maximize automation value at scale
• Make decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations
• Act as a function wide subject matter expert in one or more focus areas
• Contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firm wide frameworks, tools, and SDLC practices

Requirements

• Formal software engineering training or certification plus 5+ years of practical experience in NAMR/APAC regions (India, LATAM, Hong Kong)
• Formal software engineering training or certification with advanced applied experience in EMEA or LATAM-Brazil
• Compliance with local guidance in Singapore
• Hands on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability
• Strong Python skills and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn
• Experience with data processing tools like Spark, Pandas, and SQL; practical work with cloud based ML platforms (SageMaker, GCP AI Platform, Azure ML) or on premise ML infrastructure
• Solid understanding of MLOps including CI/CD for ML, model versioning, and monitoring
• Experience building APIs and platform services for ML workflows
• Proven ability to lead the use of enterprise AI assisted development tools for coding, code review, test acceleration, and troubleshooting, with the capacity to set team expectations for AI output validation
• Strong knowledge of responsible AI use in engineering, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs/outputs, resiliency, and security; experience coaching senior engineers on compliant usage patterns and controls
• Ability to independently address design and functionality challenges with minimal oversight
• Practical cloud native development experience
