Responsible for designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting data integration and migration solutions across multiple database platforms.

Design and develop data integration and data migration solutions
Document technical specifications, deployment documents, and support procedure manuals
Create database integration solutions from requirement specification through impact analysis, functional and technical design, programming, and testing
Handle data conversion and implementation for integration and migration work
Collaborate with business partners, analysts, and project managers on new or modified database systems
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to help other developers strengthen their skills
Lead complex production support initiatives and apply long-term solutions when appropriate
Provide on-call support for database integration solutions
Track project hours using time management software
Perform other duties or special projects as assigned

Strong working knowledge of SQL programming language
Strong working knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle relational database systems
Experience with cloud data solutions such as Databricks
Strong working knowledge of source control tools such as Git or Bitbucket
Strong working knowledge of data integration tools including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Databricks Transformation capabilities, and replication engines
Strong working knowledge of application development process principles and techniques
Strong working knowledge of system integration principles and software dependencies
Strong working knowledge of logical and physical database design concepts
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI for business intelligence applications
Analyze functional requirements to design and build technical solutions
Analyze data to develop logical solutions to problems
Establish development estimates and work toward agreed target dates
Provide accurate scope analysis and estimates for large projects
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and technical walk-throughs
Work independently while following company policies and standards
Interface effectively and cooperatively with business partners and co-workers
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Flexible ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
