Sr Data Engineer

IDR Healthcare, LLC is partnering with a client in Charlotte, NC to recruit a Sr Data Engineer for a long-term onsite opportunity. You will help build a modern cloud data platform using Snowflake, dbt, and Python on AWS, implement Data Vault 2.0 models, automate pipelines, and establish data quality and CI/CD frameworks. The role offers real ownership in a lean, high-visibility team, with opportunities to influence architecture and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a modern cloud data platform from inception to production.
• Design and implement Data Vault 2.0 data models.
• Build and maintain automated data pipelines.
• Establish data quality controls and CI/CD frameworks.
• Contribute to architectural decisions across the data stack.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Data Engineer with cloud data platforms.
• Hands-on expertise with Snowflake.
• Extensive experience using dbt (cloud and/or core).
• Proficient Python development.
• Strong background working with AWS.
• Experience implementing Data Vault 2.0.
