Sr. APEX Developer

This on-site role in McKinney, TX focuses on building and maintaining mission-critical applications across front-end and back-end development, gathering requirements, and translating technical needs into clear business outcomes. You will collaborate with customers on a regular basis and help keep item master data while maintaining cross-functional processes that connect Purchasing, Sales, Marketing and Engineering. The position emphasizes problem solving, continuous learning, and delivering tangible improvements through efficient, well-communicated solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain applications aligned with the business’s needs
• Analyze operations to create visualizations that drive actionable insights in a persona-driven approach
• Investigate root causes to enable business transformation
• Regularly interface with customers
• Maintain item master data
• Address PRD issues with a proactive, can-do attitude
• Maintain integrated processes that share parts and accessories information across Purchasing, Sales, Marketing and Engineering
• Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
• Participate in special projects and management-driven reporting as required

Requirements

• Oracle APEX experience (version 5 or higher) with 5+ years of hands-on work
• Oracle PL/SQL development and tuning — 3+ years
• JavaScript experience — 3+ years
• SCRUM/Agile development environment — 3+ years
• Web development with HTML5, XSLT and JavaScript
• Experience with task lists, purchasing, inventory, supply chain, sales information and system integration
• Strong testing and validation experience; automation experience preferred
• Strong desire to learn and explore capabilities
• Strong communicator
• Self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision and focuses on delivering results
• BS/BA degree
• 6-10 years of professional experience
• Demonstrated analytical abilities with proactive problem solving and a calm, methodical approach
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Energetic, innovative and flexible
• Forms strong working relationships within teams
• Able to identify additional tasks and willingly assists others
