Software Engineer, R&D

CorTech seeks an on-site Software Engineer, R&D to design and implement software-driven manufacturing test processes for new products in Santa Rosa, California. The role emphasizes time-domain measurement techniques and test solutions that involve laser equipment.

Compensation

Hourly rate: USD 57 per hour

Education

Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement software-driven manufacturing test processes that validate features of new products entering the market.
• Build knowledge of time-domain measurement theory and practical application, including the Keysight N1000A, sampling diode, and an Optical to Electrical converter.
• Apply software design expertise to create manufacturing test solutions using different pulse laser types and various trigger frequencies.

Requirements

• Experience with object-oriented languages; C++, C#, and Java are desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a team environment.
