Join PNC as a Software Engineer Principal in the Data and Automation organization. This onsite role is based in Farmers Branch, TX and centers on designing and coding software solutions using AWS, Infrastructure as Code, Python, and PySpark. You will align business strategy with technology, mentor teammates, and apply modern engineering practices to advance key initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Translate business objectives into effective software solutions and oversee related technical and procedural documentation
• Lead complex problem solving and provide technical guidance to colleagues and solution teams
• Proactively apply modern principles, methodologies, and tools to push forward business initiatives and capabilities

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry-relevant experience
• University / college degree
• Specific certifications are often required
• Experience with AWS services such as SageMaker, Bedrock, EMR, Lake Formation, and DataZone
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code concepts
• Familiar with AWS CDK or Terraform
