Software Engineer III
Job Description
Software Engineer III for Lockheed Martin Space supporting the LE2 Program for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) on the FBM program, onsite at Cape Canaveral, FL with a 9x80 schedule and DoD Top Secret clearance requirement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a software engineer within the EGSE organization.
- Contribute to modernization efforts aimed at improving efficiency, security, automation, and scalability.
- Collaborate with an agile team of software, systems, electrical and test engineers.
- Coordinate with the product line manager and directorates to align on needs.
Requirements
- Proficiency in one or more of: C/C++, LabView, Python, Java, TestStand.
- Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Must obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret clearance; US citizenship required.
- Experience contributing to project teams and development initiatives.
- Experience in developing software requirements, CONOPs, and software design.
- Familiarity with the software product life cycle: development, deployment, retirement.
- Experience with issue tracking and troubleshooting.
