Software Engineer III

Software Engineer III for Lockheed Martin Space supporting the LE2 Program for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) on the FBM program, onsite at Cape Canaveral, FL with a 9x80 schedule and DoD Top Secret clearance requirement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a software engineer within the EGSE organization.
• Contribute to modernization efforts aimed at improving efficiency, security, automation, and scalability.
• Collaborate with an agile team of software, systems, electrical and test engineers.
• Coordinate with the product line manager and directorates to align on needs.

Requirements

• Proficiency in one or more of: C/C++, LabView, Python, Java, TestStand.
• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Must obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret clearance; US citizenship required.
• Experience contributing to project teams and development initiatives.
• Experience in developing software requirements, CONOPs, and software design.
• Familiarity with the software product life cycle: development, deployment, retirement.
• Experience with issue tracking and troubleshooting.
