Job Description
Join Deloitte on the Human Services Transformation team in Arlington, Virginia, onsite. In this Software Engineer II role, you will design, build, and maintain secure, high-performance applications, perform testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while mentoring junior developers. You will contribute to the ongoing improvement of development practices and develop your technical leadership through hands-on work.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain secure, high-performance applications
- Execute unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and support security and compliance requirements
- Maintain technical documentation and development artifacts
- Collaborate with designers, developers, testers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver robust technical solutions
- Guide junior developers through knowledge sharing, tool evaluation, and ongoing improvement of development practices
