Software Engineer

Trianz is seeking a Software Engineer for an onsite role in Herndon, VA. In this position, you will research, design, develop, test, and maintain software and network applications, while partnering with teams to connect hardware and software components into systems that meet required performance and quality standards.

The work includes analyzing user requirements, resolving defects, and supporting releases through testing and ongoing maintenance. You may also contribute to database development and maintenance activities as part of application development and validation efforts.

What you’ll do

• Research, design, develop, test, and maintain computer and network software, applications, and utility programs.
• Analyze user requirements and develop software solutions using computer science and engineering principles.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and automated tests to validate functionality, performance, and overall quality.
• Identify and resolve software defects, enhance existing applications, and support software releases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define specifications, integrate hardware and software components, and help ensure systems meet performance and quality requirements.
• Support database development and maintenance as part of application development and testing activities.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in the field.

• Experience with Selenium.
• Experience with NYL Annuity Admin (Compass/CAPS).
• Experience with New Onboarding Retirement Application (NORA).
• Travel required.

Compensation

USD 175,427 per year.
