Software Engineer

Full Stack Software Engineer role supporting NASIC for Air Force digital transformation, focusing on designing capabilities, resolving issues, integrating with external services, and participating in code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design and build new capabilities and features
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects in the existing codebase
• Integrate capabilities with external services, APIs, and tooling
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to teammates
• Communicate project status and technical details with the customer

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant STEM field
• U.S. citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
• Ability to communicate technical details of work
• Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and own segments of a project
• Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills
• Experience with RESTful web services
• Experience with server-side languages, with preference for Golang, Node.js, and/or Python
• Experience with modern frontend JavaScript frameworks, with preference for Angular, React, and/or Vue
• Experience with version control software such as Git
• Experience with bug and issue tracking software such as Jira
