Software Developer, Oracle/LMS
Job Description
Support mission-critical Oracle and learning platforms as a Software Developer focused on Oracle and LMS applications in a classified environment. This full-time, onsite role in Ballston Spa, NY offers hourly pay of $63.00–$67.00 and requires an active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship. If you enjoy building reliable software, troubleshooting production issues, and partnering with teams to deliver secure systems, this position aligns well with your skill set.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, maintain, and support Oracle software and database applications
- Design Oracle database solutions using software engineering processes and methods
- Work with Oracle development tools including Application Express (APEX), BI Publisher, OBIEE, SQL Plus, TFS, and web services
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce technical specifications and application functionality
- Support development work in accordance with DoD and DoE cybersecurity requirements
- Design, configure, test, and maintain LMS and student information system functionality
- Develop and manage curriculum content, multimedia training materials, and student information within an LMS
- Configure LMS reporting and data collection
- Troubleshoot end-user issues and support system enhancements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 6+ years of professional software or database application development experience
- Active Secret security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Experience in Oracle database design, development, and maintenance
- Experience with Oracle Application Server or DBMS 12c or newer
- Experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX)
- Experience with BI Publisher and/or OBIEE
- Experience with SQL Plus, web services, and object-oriented development practices
- Experience developing in accordance with DoD and/or DoE cybersecurity requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work onsite in Ballston Spa, NY
