Software Developer

Sciome LLC invites a Software Developer to join its team in a hybrid role based in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. The position centers on designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining both desktop and web applications, with opportunities to contribute to new features while upholding high standards of code quality.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and ongoing maintenance of desktop and web applications
• Produce high quality, maintainable code
• Implement new features and contribute to the development of existing software products
• Participate in design meetings and code reviews

Requirements

• Two or more years of experience as a software engineer, preferably with Java
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or SQL Server
• Familiarity with object oriented programming and design/architecture patterns
• User interface design and development experience
• Experience participating in high quality code and design reviews

Compensation and Schedule

Salary: USD 70,000 - 115,000 per year
