You will help build internal applications and interfaces between software and embedded hardware within an industrial manufacturing setting. Responsibilities
- Work closely with the lead developer on initiatives that combine hardware integration with software driven solutions.
- Create and maintain internal applications that support day-to-day operations.
- Develop, test, and deploy software for systems that connect with embedded devices, sensors, and industrial hardware.
- Diagnose issues and enhance existing software systems and supporting infrastructure.
- Support IT operations, system administration, and the integration of new technologies as needed.
- Contribute to design discussions, code reviews, and documentation efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language from PHP, HTML, JavaScript, Python, or C/C++.
- Understanding of networking, APIs, and software-to-hardware communication concepts.
- Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers such as Raspberry Pi or Arduino, or other industrial hardware.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and REST APIs.
- Exposure to version control with Git and modern development workflows.
- Some experience in IT support, system integration, or automation scripting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small, fast-moving team environment.
