Sharepoint Developer

ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences is hiring a SharePoint Developer to support the US Coast Guard (ALC BOD) in Elizabeth City, NC (hybrid). This role focuses on building and improving SharePoint-based web portals and workflow systems, while also supporting users through training and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide development, maintenance, enhancement, and routing support, including testing and documentation for ALC web and portal sites and ALC business systems.
• Build and improve applications according to Division standards and USCG policy.
• Develop workflows for business processes, test workflows under development, and create test scenarios for users to follow.
• Support web server maintenance and data integration, including documentation related to ALC systems.
• Deliver classroom training and 1:1 training based on customer needs.
• Document project status by maintaining a project note file while requests move through workflow stages to completion.
• Create and maintain electronic routing and document policies, processes, procedures, and instructions in the format designated by ALC.
• Coordinate with system application users and POC(s), including overseeing testing and incorporating feedback.
• Collect and review testing results, discuss findings with application POC(s), and implement fixes as requested or required.
• Meet with customers to record details for requests, enhancements, system problems, and other job-related information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 4 years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience developing and managing customer requirements.
• Minimum 2 years of experience developing and implementing moderate to complex workflow systems, plus excellent SharePoint development skills. Power Platform is desired.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with HTML, JQuery, Web Services, and SharePoint Designer.
• Experience working with end users and personnel at all levels for requirements gathering, including determining user and organizational needs.
• Power BI experience is preferred.
• US Citizenship and the ability to pass a government background investigation are required.

Elizabeth City, NC (Hybrid: 2 days onsite / 3 days remote per week).
