Senior Software Engineer (SWE-3)

Leidos is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and scale custom analytics for mission-focused challenges. This onsite role in Fort Meade, Maryland, involves partnering with data scientists and mission analysts to prototype, develop, integrate, test, and deploy analytic tools and tradecraft into the customer’s corporate architecture. The position requires a strong software engineering background and an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph, with compensation in the range of USD 107,900 to 195,050 per year.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with data scientists and mission analysts to tackle high-stakes strategic problems, performing end-to-end software engineering to prototype, develop, integrate, test, and deploy tools into the customer’s corporate architecture.
• Lead the creation of custom analytics capable of operating at scale, bringing advanced analytics to practical, deployable solutions.
• Work with end users to develop innovative analytic tools that advance discovery and tradecraft around global challenges, delivering solutions focused on operationalizing data science.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus eleven (11) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph to be considered for this role.
