Senior Software Engineer (Medical Device)- 27505

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will build foundational software components that support clinical robotics application architectures across the surgical workflow.

Responsibilities

• Develop source code for shared data management components integrated into pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative clinical application architectures
• Contribute across the SDLC for the components, including code review, documentation, integration, testing, defect management, and code analysis
• Deliver components that are expected to be feature complete and aligned to requirements and/or design specifications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Software, Computer, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Solid experience working with C++ and Qt in a Linux environment
• Experience with Python scripting and automation
• Knowledge of SQL and SQLite databases
• Demonstrated experience managing data architecture, including data models, formats, schemas, and databases
• 3D geometry experience
• CAD modeling and mesh processing experience (plus)
• Proficiency with IDEs and build systems with minimal supervision
• Experience with revision control systems and following CI/CD development practices
• Familiarity with unit testing as part of the development workflow
• Familiarity with data serialization and interchange formats (e.g., JSON)
