Job Description

Syzygy Integration is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and validate technology solutions used by law enforcement and first responders. The work spans global situational awareness, counter drone systems, edge network sensors, and RF communications, with an emphasis on delivering integrated software across multiple platforms and interfaces.

This is a full-time role based in Conshohocken, PA (onsite), operating 5 days a week. The position supports Agile Scrum delivery and requires US citizenship, along with successful completion of background and drug screening.

Role Overview

  • Design, develop, and implement custom software and database application capabilities across a mix of legacy and modernized systems with limited oversight.
  • Contribute as part of a product team by supporting teammates and collaborating with a do what it takes mindset to drive product and team success.
  • Engineer complex, multidisciplinary customer solutions that can include hardware interfaces, mobile applications, web applications, and edge computing within an iterative multi-sprint Agile Scrum schedule.
  • Coordinate with software and hardware engineers, stakeholders, and end users to keep solutions aligned with the needs of front-line operators.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience as a full stack developer.
  • Experience with at least two of the following: Java (Spring), Swift (CoreData/CoreLocation/CoreBluetooth/MapKit/Networking/Combine), Kotlin (mobile and server side), C++, NodeJS.
  • Experience with at least one of: Angular, ReactNative, Flutter, ReactJS.
  • Experience with at least one of: Android Development, iOS Development.
  • Experience with at least one of: PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB.
  • Mentoring: 3 years (Required).
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must pass a drug screening.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Onsite requirement: Conshohocken, PA 19428 (Required).
  • Ability to get a security clearance (open, willing, and able to do so).

Nice to Have

  • JavaScript (or TypeScript), HTML5/CSS3, and containerization (Docker).
