Senior Software Engineer

ASD is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Levels 2 and 3) to develop embedded real-time software for EA-18G Growler programs. This position is on-site at Point Mugu, CA and Camarillo, CA.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded real-time system software
• Work in an Agile environment as part of a Scrum team
• Resolve software and system defects
• Collaborate with the customer, internal NGC sites and disciplines
• Participate in peer reviews, critical milestone reviews, and technical inter-change meetings
• Utilize project dependent tools including Rational ClearCase, ClearQuest, and DOORS
• Utilize project dependent tools including Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence
• Utilize project dependent programming languages including Ada, C/C++, and C#
• Work with Green Hills Integrity RTOS, Windows, and Linux environments

Requirements

• BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 5 years of experience
• MS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 3 years of experience
• Experience with Ada, C/C++, C#
• Knowledge of object-oriented software development
• Ability to function as a member of an integrated team
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. git, Bitbucket, ClearCase, etc.)
• US Citizenship required
• DoD Secret Clearance or higher, interim Secret is acceptable
