Senior Software Engineer

Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Software Integrated Product Team (IPT) under the TMAS2 Tenants contract, onsite at Eglin AFB, Florida. The role centers on developing and integrating software systems that support acquisition processes, working within a collaborative team to ensure reliable delivery and alignment with program requirements. This position calls for extensive software development experience, cross-functional coordination, and a focus on quality and compliance in a structured, government-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a software engineering team to design, develop, and deploy software systems that support acquisition workflows.
• Evaluate the design, development, testing, and maintenance of applications, tools, and interfaces that enable efficient acquisition processes.
• Partner with stakeholders to collect and document functional, allocated, and product baseline requirements.
• Oversee the integration of software systems with existing acquisition platforms.
• Review and enhance documentation related to software systems, processes, and procedures, including user manuals, technical guides, and training materials; identify gaps and propose enhancements.
• Review testing plans and procedures to ensure software systems meet requirements and are free from defects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including acquisition and logistics, to ensure software systems meet requirements.
• Ensure software systems comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including cybersecurity and data privacy requirements.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Master's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or an equivalent discipline
• At least 10 years of computer engineering experience or equivalent; an additional 2 years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement
• Secret clearance within the last 5 years with Top Secret eligibility
