Senior Software Engineer

Amplify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Scottsdale-based team, building wealth management tools that span the full technology stack. The role requires at least five years of hands-on experience with C# and .NET in an agile, ownership-driven environment, delivering durable systems across trading, proposals, digital forms, and client-facing features.

This onsite position in Scottsdale, AZ, invites collaboration with engineering leadership to influence design decisions, architecture, and best practices while upholding Amplify's values and fostering a proactive, ownership-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and sustain applications across the Amplify platform, covering trading systems, proposals, digital forms, and client-facing features.
• Design scalable backend services, APIs, and data integrations.
• Contribute to the front-end user interface using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Provide support for production environments and participate in a rotating premarket morning check before the market opens.
• Collaborate within an agile team and partner closely with engineering leadership to shape design, architecture, and engineering best practices.
• Uphold Amplify's values and help foster a positive, ownership-focused engineering culture.

Requirements

• More than five years of software development experience with C#/.NET or another object-oriented language.
• Comfort working across the stack, including databases, APIs, back-end services, and front-end components.
• Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of relational databases.
• Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Vue, Angular, etc.).
• Good grasp of software design principles, testing, and version control.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
• Proven track record of taking projects from concept to production.
