Senior Software Developer - Java

Uline is looking for a Senior Java Software Developer to help build, deploy, and maintain sophisticated Java applications. This onsite role in Pleasant Prairie, WI gives you the opportunity to work across the full development lifecycle while improving application performance, architecture, and team execution.

What you’ll do

• Craft, test, and deploy robust Java applications aligned with business needs using industry-leading technologies and coding standards.
• Improve quality and responsiveness through code reviews, performance optimization, and ongoing attention to application standards.
• Contribute to architecture and planning by assisting with architectural design reviews and project planning, sharing input for strategic advancements.
• Mentor and lead developers by providing guidance and support using leadership practices in cross-functional development work.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain consistent processes and deliver work on time.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant programming education and experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on Java full stack development, including a strong track record delivering enterprise solutions using the Spring framework.
• Extensive experience with REST web services and microservice environments, plus Git, JPA, SQL, JSON, SOAP, XML, and code versioning tools.
• Working knowledge of caching, service discovery, CI/CD tools, and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Uline does not participate in the H1-B lottery.
