Senior Software Developer

Old Dominion University in Norfolk is looking for a Senior Software Developer to shape and maintain its digital tools and services. The role focuses on building custom applications, modules, templates, workflows, content models, and integrations with modern web technologies, while ensuring system interoperability across repositories, databases, operating systems, and external university partners. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom applications, modules, templates, workflows, content models, and integrations using web technologies.
• Implement and support system architecture, data integrations, APIs, and web services to enable interoperability between content repositories, databases, operating systems, and external university systems.
• Install, configure, upgrade, monitor, and troubleshoot web and application platforms to ensure security, performance, availability, and reliability.
• Document system configurations, changes, and procedures, coordinating with vendors as needed to resolve issues or outages.
• Work from home is permitted.
