Senior Python Developer

Nitka Technologies is recruiting an experienced Senior Python Developer to support a long-term online education initiative. This is a 100% remote, full-time role focused on delivering and operating high-load Python systems that handle significant data volumes.

If you have a strong background building production-grade backend services and working comfortably in cloud and Linux environments, this position offers the structure and flexibility to do the work effectively.

Role context

You will be part of a long-term project within the online education space, helping design and implement Python-based services intended to scale. The work emphasizes high throughput systems, reliable operations, and practical experience with relational databases and cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Python development experience
• Familiarity with Python web frameworks: Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Extensive experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
• Proven experience designing, building, and operating high-load systems and processing large volumes of data
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Confident working in Linux, including writing shell scripts for automation and ops tasks
• Strong spoken English (Intermediate or higher)
• Nice-to-have: experience with ClickHouse, Elasticsearch, and GraphQL APIs
