Softcom Systems, Inc presents an onsite Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer role in Torrance, CA, with a competitive hourly rate of USD 60 - 70. The position focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle database solutions, optimizing performance, supporting ETL/ELT processes, and providing production support. You will contribute to data driven applications and collaborate with cross-functional teams on site to keep systems stable and efficient. This is a hands-on role that values technical excellence and clear collaboration in a dynamic environment.

Location: Torrance, California (Onsite). Pay: USD 60.00 - 70.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PL/SQL objects including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages
• Perform query optimization, performance tuning, and database debugging
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate features and resolve issues
• Support ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline operations
• Document technical specifications and contribute to system architecture discussions
• Troubleshoot and resolve production database issues promptly

Requirements

• U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders only
• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server)
• 8+ years of production support experience in data-driven environments
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and SDLC practices
• Experience with code repositories, job orchestration, and data modeling
• Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
