Job Description

3-month hybrid contract in Austin, TX with a mission-critical focus on Authentication. Procom is seeking a Senior .NET/C# Developer to design, build, and support an Authentication platform in an Agile environment, with an even split between coding and system design across QA, UAT, and Production.

What you’ll work on

  • Lead development and delivery of software products through QA, UAT, and Production phases.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to deliver on schedule and within budget.
  • Partner with the Scrum Master and product owner for development sizing and cost analysis.
  • Drive story decomposition, feature design, and task prioritization.
  • Use automated testing tools and frameworks to uphold software quality standards.
  • Support the Identity and credential management system for Authentication between internal and external systems.
  • Remove roadblocks by helping address needs in collaboration with the Scrum Master.
  • Coordinate team deliverables to support successful product releases.
  • Identify technology risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Run code quality improvement sessions with developers.
  • Prototype and develop tailored application solutions.

Required skills

  • Expertise building server-side applications using C# and .NET.
  • Experience developing UI using Angular or React.
  • Extensive experience with high availability, throughput, and scalability solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary system architecture and development standards.
  • Proven ability to mentor junior team members.
  • Background in AI development and Specification-Driven Development.
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with databases such as MongoDB and Aerospike.
  • Knowledge of authentication protocols including Kerberos and Ping Identity solutions.
  • Experience testing RESTful web services and parsing JSON/XML.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
  • Prior experience in financial services or brokerage.

Location: Austin, Texas, United States (Hybrid, 4 days onsite).
Start date: ASAP.
Assignment length: 3 months.
