Senior GCP Data Engineer

Sgn Global Technologies is hiring a Senior GCP Data Engineer for an onsite role in Temple, TX. This position focuses on building and improving large-scale data pipelines and integration solutions, with an emphasis on translating business needs into practical technical outcomes. The pay range is $65.00 to $75.00 per hour, and the role is W2 only with eligibility restricted to US Citizens and Green Card holders.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines and data integration solutions.
• Convert business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.

Core requirements

• Progressive experience in data engineering, data integration, or closely related technical roles, with 14 to 15 years of experience.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and Python, plus modern data engineering frameworks and tools.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and database design principles.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and services in Azure and/or GCP.
• Familiarity with DataOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, workflow orchestration, and automated testing.
• Experience with big data technologies, distributed processing frameworks, or cloud-native data architectures is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
