Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (TS/SCI)
Job Description
Vantor seeks a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer in Springfield, VA, onsite, who holds a TS/SCI clearance to design, develop, and deploy data collection, analytics, visualization, and workflow automation solutions for national security missions in collaboration with U.S. Government customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, robust software capabilities that support mission critical operations.
- Engage across the full software lifecycle, from planning and requirements through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Follow established standards and processes to deliver high quality, extensible, and maintainable software solutions.
- Leverage cloud technologies to extract, manipulate, transform, and visualize geospatial and temporal data.
- Create analytics and derivative data products to enable meaningful insights for users.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with users across the IC and DoD to capture requirements and propose technical solutions.
- Work with diverse teams of engineers, clients, and end users to achieve project goals.
- This role requires full-time onsite work.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance, and willingness to obtain a CI polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- At least eight years of hands-on software development experience, including design, development, and deployment.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or comparable object-oriented languages.
- Experience with extracting, manipulating, visualizing, and analyzing large data sets.
- Proficiency working in Linux-based environments.
- Experience designing and supporting cloud-based architectures, including AWS and C2S environments.
- Experience developing and maintaining cloud-hosted applications.
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL data stores such as Elasticsearch or MongoDB.
- Proven ability to lead small engineering teams and work independently or collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability, with openness to emerging technologies for mission challenges.
- Familiarity with modern software development tools, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Pay Transparency
The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $137,000.00 - $228,000.00 annually.
