Senior Full Stack Developer, React & NestJS

WebCreek Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Houston, Texas team on-site. The role centers on delivering enterprise applications across frontend and backend, with a strong emphasis on backend architecture, data processing, security, and production reliability. You will collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable React and NestJS based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full stack applications with React on the frontend and NestJS on the backend.
• Create backend services, APIs, and business logic to support data processing and compute-intensive workloads.
• Leverage MongoDB and Redis, implement OpenID Connect based security, and integrate queueing systems within the architecture.
• Collaborate in technical discussions to define pragmatic solutions with the development team.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and support applications across frontend, backend, database, and deployment layers.
• Own designated features and issues from development through to production support.
• Partner with technical leads, developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into dependable technical solutions.
• Enhance system quality, performance, scalability, maintainability, and operational reliability.

Requirements

• At least five years of professional software development experience.
• Proven track record building full stack apps using React and NestJS.
• Solid backend development skills with APIs, services, data processing, and compute workloads.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB or equivalent NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Redis or similar caching technologies.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization concepts, including OpenID Connect or equivalent protocols.
• Experience with queueing systems, asynchronous processing, or event-driven backend workflows.
• Experience deploying, supporting, and troubleshooting production applications.
• Ability to take ownership, propose solutions, and execute with minimal direction.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in technical and architectural discussions.
• Proactive, adaptable, and ready to dive into issues as they arise.
