Job Description

Leupold + Stevens, Inc. invites applications for a Senior ERP Applications Developer to anchor our Oracle E-Business Suite efforts for discrete manufacturing from Beaverton, Oregon. This onsite role centers on end-to-end ERP ownership for BOM, Routing, ECO, WIP, Inventory, and PIM, delivering hands-on technical leadership and close collaboration with shop-floor and business teams. The position offers a salary range of USD 130,000 to 150,000 per year and requires seven or more years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary ERP applications expert for Oracle E-Business Suite discrete manufacturing processes (BOM, Routing, ECO, WIP, Inventory, PIM), ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with business needs.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership across the Oracle E-Business Suite environment.
  • Perform deep application development work, understanding shop-floor manufacturing operations, and own ERP solutions end to end.
  • Develop sophisticated SQL and PL/SQL for high-performance needs.
  • Design and maintain custom Oracle concurrent programs.
  • Leverage Oracle Manufacturing APIs for BOM, WIP, Routing, and Inventory.
  • Build and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, GraphQL, PL/SQL, and file/SFTP-based interfaces.
  • Support and enhance internal manufacturing-related applications.
  • Tune SQL and PL/SQL for optimal performance.
  • Adhere to Oracle EBS development standards and best practices.
  • Support discrete Manufacturing modules including BOM, Routing, ECO, WIP, Inventory, and PIM.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing transaction failures and workflow issues.
  • Validate functional behavior against actual shop-floor execution and production workflows.
  • Collaborate with business users to ensure system behavior matches operational intent.
  • Provide cross-functional development support to Order-to-Cash teams as needed.
  • Own and troubleshoot manufacturing-related integrations.
  • Diagnose failures across APIs, PL/SQL interfaces, staging tables, and file pipelines.
  • Produce validated SQL datasets for Power BI developers and operational reporting.
  • Ensure data correctness, performance, and integrity.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including custom code and integration design documentation, interface mappings and data flow diagrams, operational runbooks and troubleshooting guides, and change/deployment documentation for long-term maintainability.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of Oracle EBS technical and functional experience in a discrete manufacturing environment.
  • Expert-level SQL and PL/SQL development within an Oracle EBS setting.
  • Proven experience delivering custom solutions for BOM, Routing, ECO, WIP, Inventory, and PIM.
  • Oracle E-Business Suite experience (12.1.x required; 12.2.x preferred).
  • Experience building and supporting integrations in an ERP environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to translate discrete manufacturing processes into effective technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day direction.
  • Onsite role based in Oregon.
  • Exposure to Order-to-Cash modules (OM, Pricing, WMS, Shipping, AR, Depot Repair).
  • MES or execution system experience (FactoryLogix, Ignition, or similar).
  • Knowledge of Planning, MRP, or ASCP.
  • Experience supporting data engineering for reporting and analytics.
  • Experience with Oracle BI Publisher / XML Publisher.
  • Experience with integration tools such as Jitterbit, MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
