Job Description

Senior Data Engineer for Stellantis, operating onsite in Auburn Hills, MI within the Supply Chain AI Hub. The role centers on building dependable data foundations, scalable pipelines, and governance to advance AI delivery and mature data engineering practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design, enhance or govern targeted data models, transformation logic, and pipeline components to support AI and analytics use cases
  • Encourage durable architectures, reusable components, and transparent lineage across transformations where applicable
  • Assist delivery teams with practical data engineering discipline rather than ad hoc technical builds
  • Clarify source-to-platform pathways, integration dependencies, and technical constraints impacting delivery
  • Maintain visibility into traceability, handoffs, and access controls across the Supply Chain domain
  • Collaborate with ICT and engineering stakeholders to keep build paths practical and scalable
  • Contribute to quality checks, certification routines, governance standards, or compliance-related traceability needs as assigned
  • Identify structural data issues, documentation gaps, or control weaknesses that affect deployment readiness
  • Foster a trusted delivery environment by making data assets more visible, understandable and supportable

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 8 years of experience in data engineering or data platforms
  • Previous experience in the Supply Chain domain
  • Hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Spark, Snowflake, or equivalent
  • Experience with data pipelines, integration, semantic modeling, lineage, architecture and platform environments
  • Experience delivering enterprise-scale data transformations and delivery
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with analytics, AI, and software engineering teams

  • Robust data engineering experience in modern enterprise settings, with depth in areas such as data modeling, pipelines, integration, quality, lineage or governance
  • Ability to navigate between business needs, technical constraints, and delivery realities
  • Strong SQL skills and practical understanding of data structures, transformations, traceability and controlled delivery environments
  • Comfort working with multiple stakeholders across architecture, data, engineering and governance topics
  • Structured, pragmatic approach with the ability to own a defined subset of a broader senior data engineering scope
