Salesforce Developer
Job Description
Salesforce Developer role with Flow Control Group, onsite in Chicago, IL, offering USD 120,000 - 125,000 per year to design, code, test, and implement Salesforce solutions in partnership with the IT team and Salesforce Administrator.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Salesforce implementations following the Software Development Lifecycle, with a preference for Agile environments.
- 3 to 5 years of object oriented programming experience, with Java or C# preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on Salesforce.com developer work.
- Execute design and development on the Force.com platform.
- Extensive experience with Apex classes, Triggers, Batch Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, and UI technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
- Oversee configuration, customization, integration, and data migration across project phases.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborate with the Salesforce Administrator to validate business requirements and address security, scalability, and limit considerations.
- Develop custom user interfaces using Visualforce pages, Lightning pages, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components.
- Utilize Salesforce APIs to integrate with other organizational systems.
- Follow Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and create and maintain test classes for all custom development.
- Integrate and maintain business apps with Salesforce such as DocuSign, Conga, Youreka, and Survey Gizmo.
- Operate within the IT team and report directly to the IT Salesforce Platform Manager.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Salesforce products including Sales Cloud, Field Service Management, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud, with 3-5 years of Salesforce development experience.
- Experience implementing and developing in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Java.
- Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong collaboration and communication with business stakeholders and other Salesforce team members.
- Experience gathering requirements and presenting solutions to stakeholders.
- Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I.
