Salesforce Administrator & APEX Developer

Technology Digest inc is hiring for a Contract Salesforce Administrator & APEX Developer role supporting a state government IT department. You will help manage and maintain a workforce management solution built on Salesforce, handling both day-to-day administration and custom development work. This position is based in Oklahoma City with a hybrid schedule that includes 2 days on-site per week.

Working as part of the team, you will design and maintain Salesforce workflows and data structures, build and fix custom functionality using APEX, and troubleshoot platform issues independently. The engagement runs for 12 months with an option to extend, offering $45.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Salesforce forms
• Configure and maintain field-level security and validation rules
• Perform APEX development for custom functionality and bug fixes
• Manage user and service account profiles
• Write and optimize SOQL queries, including complex cross-table queries
• Provide regular status reporting and collaborate with business stakeholders on requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day platform issues independently

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce administration
• Proficiency in APEX development
• Solid SOQL skills, including query optimization
• Confident knowledge of Salesforce navigation, forms, and field-level security
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must reside in Oklahoma
• Must be able to work on-site in Oklahoma City 2 days/week
• Experience: 4–6 years of Salesforce experience, including 2–3 years of hands-on APEX development
