Job Description

The Ravin Group, a Louisville, Kentucky based multifamily real estate developer, is seeking a Real Estate Developer to steer projects from site identification to construction handoff. This onsite position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $135,000 per year, a robust benefits package, and clear opportunities for advancement within a growth‑minded team.

In this role you will oversee feasibility, due diligence, entitlements, financing, design coordination, and stakeholder engagement to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Assess potential multifamily sites using market insights and financial assessments.
  • Lead due diligence including environmental reviews, surveys, and engineering studies.
  • Build financial tools such as project budgets, schedules, and multifamily pro formas.
  • Arrange project financing through debt, equity, grants, and specialized funding programs.
  • Navigate municipal processes for zoning, entitlements, and permitting.
  • Coordinate design teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and public stakeholders.
  • Monitor project risk from pre development through final financial closing.
  • Prepare executive reports for company leadership, investors, and project partners.
  • Facilitate smooth handoffs to construction and operations teams at closing.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Construction, or Urban Planning preferred.
  • Experience: 2 to 6+ years in residential or multifamily development.
  • Financial skills: proven ability to develop pro formas and build financial models for multifamily projects.
  • Regulatory knowledge: demonstrated experience handling zoning, entitlements, and residential land-use regulations.
  • Funding programs: familiarity with affordable housing or specialized tax credit programs such as LIHTC is a plus.
  • Core competencies: exceptional organizational, analytical, communication, and relationship-management skills.
