Python Developer

Matlen Silver is hiring a Senior Python Developer for a hybrid contract role building a surveillance system. This position focuses on object-oriented Python work alongside React and Quartz, with opportunities to apply trading knowledge as part of the domain. The engagement runs for 12-18 months, with pay on a W2 basis only.

What you’ll work on

You will contribute to a surveillance system using OOP design in Python, collaborating on both backend and front-end components. The role blends development across Python, React, and Quartz to support system functionality and delivery.

• Develop and maintain surveillance system features using object-oriented Python
• Work with React on the front end
• Apply Quartz (or equivalent) skills to support the platform
• Bring trading knowledge to inform domain-specific implementation

Requirements

• 7+ years as a Python developer
• Strong OOP in Python
• Quartz experience (or similar skill)
• React skills for front-end development
• Trading knowledge
